Rider Mower Specialists LLC, doing business as The Riding Mower Specialists ("RMS," "we," "us"), provides riding mower pickup, repair, and delivery in Northern California. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, phone number, email address, pickup address, preferred contact method, details about your mower and what's wrong with it, pickup notes, and any photos you send.
- Phone calls: calls to our business line are answered by our automated AI phone assistant. Calls may be recorded and transcribed so we can log your request and follow up.
- Text messages: the content of texts you send us, your phone number, and whether you have opted in or out of text messages.
- Website: information you submit through our pickup request form.
How we use your information
- To schedule pickup and delivery, diagnose and repair your mower, and send estimates and invoices.
- To contact you by your preferred method about your request or repair.
- To send text messages you have agreed to receive. See Text Messaging Terms.
- To keep records of our work and improve our service.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, such as our phone and text messaging provider, our AI phone assistant platform, our invoicing software, and our email and spreadsheet tools. These providers may use your information only to provide services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Text messaging: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
How long we keep it
We keep customer records for as long as needed to provide service, keep business records, and meet legal requirements.
Your choices
- Text messages: reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help.
- Access, correction, or deletion: email us to see, correct, or delete the information we have about you. California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we will honor those requests as the law requires.
